[Complaint] 451_ATS

I'd like to submit some feedback of the negative variety for 451_ATS.

Said admin said in pink chat that players must engage any nearby enemy, they cannot wait to fight an enemy alone (i.e. a player has no choice whether or not to engage in battle).

I often avoid fighting in clusters since I often get hit by teammates! Thus, I dissented and said players should have a choice whether they'd like to play cautiously, we shouldn't be forced to zerg (5v1 an enemy). I wasn't saying that duels were allowed as I know they are not permitted according to the rules.

I stated that players should be permitted to decide for themselves when and how to engage an enemy, as long as it is not delaying the round.

451_ATS responded by immediately muting me.
I don't believe it is in the interests of the community to have an admin who mutes anyone who openly disagrees with him. I, and many other players, found the mute excessive and unnecessary, perhaps, dare I say, abusive.

I assume this was on the community server?
In that case I will move it into the NA community ban section so the server ops can read about it.

This is not the first complaint that came up about that admin.

Let me know, don't think he is Official NA admin.

451 was confirming and enforcing that there are no duels on the battle server. "Duels are for the Duel Server."

You were muted for beating a dead subject when all an admin did was confirm what was being asked about the rules, which he did not create. Any admin's job is to enforce the rules of the server and to keep the playing experience civil.

Your chat, as shown in the screenshot you posted, came across as antagonizing an admin for a dispute that should have been brought up in player to admin chat or on the forums. That is why you were muted. You were not banned, you were not kicked, you were just muted.
