IIRC Wfas was releach BEFORE warband in some country...

but I need to check

and any way : deluge is a warband mod :P
So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"

I don't think so.  I think they were working on WFaS before Warband was released, so obviously they were basing it off of the original M&B.  But once we get spoiled with Warband and the improvements over the original M&B, then why would they think we'd want to play a game based on the original...

My bro bought it right away because he loves M&B, and Warband.  As soon as he told me couching lances is stuck in one fixed position like the first M&B that told me everything I needed to know about the game.

WfaS was basically a pay mod for very local area, I think Poland cuz it's about a polish war in 17th century or something, where taleworlds licensed the game out to local devs to create the content, and yes it was originally arranged before Warband. I think it was successful enough there that they basically decided to translate it to English and release it for rest of world as a quick cash grab (Paradox and Steam both hyped it as a new xpac when in reality it was inferior to Warband). It was a cheap move that might have burned some people (never bought it), I hope at least Taleworlds made some decent cash out of it.

You see that often, just like Counterstrike which started as a mod or Battlefield2 with Dice, they started as the people behind the BF1942mod Desert Combat.

lolwut.
