On one hand it's needed to prevent people leaving mid-game when they see they're going to lose, on the other we really could use a short period at the start of the match where you can leave the game.

Aye, a short gap at the start of the round where we can leave server without incurring kit damage would be good.

SUGGESTION:
I would be fair if you had the same chance of degrading as usual if you decide too leave the round (lets say more than 30 seconds in). Leaving the game in the beginning of the round should not be punished.
That way it wouldnt benefit anyone to leave but not really punish either = Fair.


And if possible, to make it even more fair, only have a chance to degrade equipment if it turns out your team lost. Dunno if that can be done though.

I think spawning naked would still be easier option, works for me every time.

Actually you only have to spawn naked and then leave. You dont have to play next round at all.
