What killed Oblivion for me was the fact that they introduced quest markers, much more satisfaction for questing in Morrowind. I liked exploring and that kind of stuff
Yeah, it was always quite fun trying to follow their (often quite vague =D ) instructions on how to reach a particular place. Sometimes I ended up wandering around a particular area for hours before seeing the landmark which they referenced, but then that sometimes allowed me to find little caves or w/e that I wouldn't otherwise have gone looking for.
Oh those pesky quest markers... whenever I see them I just have to follow them like a sheep. I cannot look the other way or move in another direction. So because of it I uinstalled the game, but then that made me rage too. Because it had "steps" I needed to follow
