Then I thought about it and started crying. I remember one time I saw a news reporter in the mid-west talk about a flooding and the resulting severe damages and deaths. He then proceeded to explain why the victims had the catastrophe coming and how it was all their fault, because it happened in an atheist community and god needed to punish them for not believing in him.
He was not joking.
I love California. Don't matter if you're Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, homosexual, straight, bisexual, or anything else. Unless you're a hardcore satanist or a transvestite, then we'll just look at you weirdly.
