Good, if spook gets a mic and stays in TS, the rest of the game might not have to hear his bigotry.
The other day he tked me, for attacking someone he was dueling? I don't know. Not to mention his generally rude behavior.
Chaos should think twice about accepting him, as his words will then reflect your clan, regardless if you feel that is fair.
Also, RL will have nothing to do with spook until he gives me a formal apology, no matter what clan he hides behind.
His skill is not what I question, it is his negative and obnoxious attitude. Please consider if his skill outweighs the diplomatic burden he is likely to put on you within the crpg community.
Good luck teaching him manners and how to properly socialize with other human beings. I tried once.
I genuinely have no idea who this person is and their names ring no bells whatsoever. If you feel I've wrong you, well then I'm sorry.
The only times I ever TW intentionally is when it's absolute self defense, (someone i purposely trying to kill me) and that is mostly a tactical decision on my part to avoid losing the round or when someone has nailed me two or three times in a row (less than 5-10 seconds between hits) doing considerable damage to me and even then I only use the TW as a reprimand to basically say "Watch what the the hell you are doing." I never TK intentionally unless the person is blatantly following me around trying to kill me and won't stop.
I fully admit that I'm very good at playing the douchebag; with purpose. After 23 generations of play, I've come to realize that "nice guy" commanders finish last in the world of unorganized pub play (which is where i have thrived for so long) where you're leading a couple dozen lone wolves who want to run off and do their own thing. Think of me as drill sergeant R. Lee Ermey on steroids. Capitalized sentences and colorful, vibrant language are an absolute must, because people will genuinely disregard or blatantly ignore what you're saying otherwise. Getting pub players, who are by their very nature notoriously stubborn, to actively stick together or hold strategic points on the map for longer than 10 seconds is a superhuman feat in of itself. They need orders and direction constantly pounded on them to override their natural instinct to go lone wolf and pad their scores at the expense of the team and the victory. In contrast, when the team performs well, I'm always the first to heave support and praise on them, but I am also careful not to lay it on too thick because players get overconfident and take victory for granted, essentially throwing the streak away. Have you ever tried to lead a group of rag tag peasants against a team populated by in majority by organized clans and players who are used to hunting as a pack? It's not easy. It's not pleasant. Yet I've lead such rabble to victory over such forces hundreds of times. In short, you must absolutely be an unforgiving taskmaster.
On another note, if you're going to hold the relationship you have with Chaos hostage over one person you don't like, what does that say about you? Honestly, what does that say; that you're too proud to put aside your differences to go after the objective or the victory? Personally, when I get on a team with someone that I may not be fond towards, it has no impact whatsoever on what I do. I put aside such personal differences with that person and continue to do what I do with the victory of the entire team as a whole as my only priority. That is what it means to be a professional. It's the mark of a leader and true team player all the same.
So, does this mean my obnoxious, overbearing attitude will translate while I'm playing with organized players who are used to working as a team? What do you think? I do those things with pubs because they have purpose and they get results better than any other action; despite what other people may think or wish.
Seriously, try leading a pub to victory over a challenging team sometime. Now try to do the same thing over and over for an entire year, day after day. See for yourself what gets results. You'll either burn out or realize that it takes an iron fist over a velvet glove.
Anybody can be a critic (and i welcome free opinion) but when you try to step up to do the job nobody else will, that is when you can talk to me about what gets results.
I feel no ill will against anybody that may or may not like me. Results are what concern me. Victory is the animal I wish to tame.
