No it's not really that bad, it's just really dark because of the observatories. So the street lights don't put out hardly any light, and it is a college town so there are always dangers for walking alone at night.

Right? One of our neighbors was smoking hookah with us the other night and he was just telling us of how you don't go walking the streets downtown at night. I guess some drunk native american guys followed him for like half a mile asking for money so they could "get back to the reservation".Im sort of nervous to about going to run in the evening, even though our apartments are sort of close to campus.
