I was the person that got TK'd, I'd rather not see them banned.

I can also confirm that i warned at least Wojtek about this a week or two ago where they spammed con sites on a roof top and then camped it even as last people alive.
Accessible but not helpful for the team at all.

# No siege equipment spam

    * OK: Planting ladders to get to roofs or walls
    * OK: Blocking a door with a construction site
    * OK: Planting siege shields to provide cover from ranged fire
    * NOT OK: Creating a weapon rack and spawning more than a few items to block movement

Can you tell me how building a seige tower is against the rules provided here? It seems Algaroth and others are under the assumption that using weapon racks to get materials is spamming, but the rules state that spamming items to block movement is against the rules. There is a big difference between that and using them to build a seige tower.

Isn't the point of the weapon racks to build this kind of stuff? Otherwise why are they in the game?

Ganner, isn't it your job to enforce the rules that are stated, not make them up as you please? Creating seige towers aren't against the rules currently stated, if you believe they are impractical in battle is besides the point.

However, there does seem to be a general consensus that destroying your teams weapon racks is against the rules.

If your common sense is not working, here are some more specific guidelines. This is not an explicit list, common sense always overrides disputes. Do not come crying "it's not prohibited in the rules" if you invent a new creative way to be an idiot and get punished.

This has also been discussed before, it falls under the common sense rules and the leeching rules.  By sitting in spawn spending 3-5 minutes constructing a siege tower you are not contributing to your team and thus leeching.

Remember not all rules are expressly written, thus the first rule.  USE COMMON SENSE.

Totally did not see the common sense clause coming, OH WAIT! That is what every admin falls back on when they don't have anything else to say. So why are there construction sites and materials in the game? They are made for building. It takes a lot less time to build a seige tower then you think it does.

It is a slippery slope when admins start defining what strategic plans are aloud and what ones aren't. Are people going to get banned next week for camping houses and other structures?

Wojtek_ATS 24 hour ban for TKing.

As for your "excuse" that its a valid tactic, i doubt very much that your temmates that all appeared to be dead before your tower was up would agree.  Its leeching plain and simple, you are warned, and if caught you will receive a ban for leeching.
