Crouch?

Ok,

So I was fighting on this one battle map, and the setting was in a cornfield sort of place, so I was thinking...gee if only there was a way I could couch or go prone, so I could hide with my samurai ninjaness in the bushes and sneak up and ambush the passing enemy infantry.

If you have played Mount and Musket Mod, they have a "q" button i believe to crouch and fire a gun, now if we could get that somehow into this mod, just a simple kneel perhaps could add more strategies to ambushes and hiding. Would be an added bonus if you could make it a crouch+crouch walking, obviously a very slow process, but moving while crouched nontheless.

thanks!

+1 would be great. It should take some time to stand up and get into crouch ofc.

Admit it, you just want to teabag your enemies.
That is all that people use crouch for most of the time anyway.

Crouching = Extreme Haystackhiding Archers & Xbowers
On the other hand it would be a nice feature

If devs can change that you don't see through the textures when in hay that wont be a problem?

I don't really think that crouching is needed in cRPG...

Agreed - also, Xbows could be shot while kneeling - a small advantage over bows ;)

There is really no need for crouching. Do not support the stupid "hide and snipe" or "hide and stab" playstyles of some people. There is already enough delaying going on

And if you want crouch you would have to make it possible for every infantry, means also bows could be shot while kneeling and also things could be thrown etc etc

And there is already enought stupid crossbowsniping, so no need for more :/

Additionally, crouching/kneeling should be necessary to rear a horse with a pike or spear.
