Yes this is a good start, but I want even less variety please think of more items to remove. Don't worry we can compensate the users with heirloom points, but we definitely need less variety, so tired of not seeing anybody but clans wearing the same stuff.

If there's anything CRPG has traditionally been about, it's definitely allowing the whining masses to overshout the minority minding their own business and enjoying the game.

I don't really wear strange armor, but it also isn't offending me e-honor so greatly that it need be removed.

As for the "for the era", nothing in this game performs (feinting, light speed heavy weapons, lolstab) as it did in that era so why should we care about the aesthetics?

I wish people would spend more time worrying about their own fun rather than trying to figure out ways to limit others- we'd have a significantly better mod.

I honestly could see that if it were an issue of addiition, but taking perfectly functional items out to appease the popular trend of e-xenophobia (weeabo) seems a bit silly. Like another poster said, i'm sure what makes games better is less variety.

I honestly can't wait until there's a massive campaign against the turkish armor, that would be fun to watch and then we'd see how big people were on "of the many".

@ OP Fasader, would this mean Katanas and the other weeaboo weapons would get removed as well?
Honestly it'd make no sense to remove the armors but not the weapons.

We are thinking of removing the Strange Armour sets because the models...

• are low quality and originally made for a .808 mod for the original M&B.
• are not from native so they have no excuse to be low quality.
• may have been ripped from some crappy asian MMO game.

• are, by many people, considered distasteful and ruinous to the atmosphere of the game, particularly in strategus village battles.
• are non-historical and are least fitting with the general theme of Native.

(present heirloom ones would be turned into the corresponding amount of heirloom points, of course.)

Your bolded reasons are only part of his reasoning, not the only reasons. Hell, the 1st & 2nd reason are really the same thing, so that makes only half of his argument about the quality of the models.  The rest of the argument is whether the items should exist in the first place.

i signed for removal because the armor stats was bugged. now if the stats got fixed with the patch, i don't really bothers me if is there or not. Before the patch, that armor in lordly status + lordly mittens, gave something like 51 body armor.
