End the free upkeep exploit

I'm really tired of the guys running around on plated chargers and wearing plate armor round after round because they exploit the 1st gen free upkeep feature meant for newbies. Why is this still in place?

Real newbies don't even have expensive equipment so how much does free upkeep help them? At least lower the maximum level that it is available for, like up to level 15 or so. Then with enough strength to wear plate won't have the agility to be riding a charger as well.

Plate charger, plate armor and   weapons without looms or enough skill points are very effectiv (irony off)
I have another great  idea remove all loom points  for 5 days lets see  what happens .. all 24/7 loom  exploiters with no real life are nearly real life suicde

Agreed, why not just let them not have to pay upkeep until they get to level 26 OR until they respec for the first time.

heavy plate armor, mail mittens + 15 strength gives you 82 hp despite having no IF. Seems like a fine cav build. Since you aren't paying upkeep, every once in a while you can take it up to lvl 30 since you will have a lot of money.

35 + 15 = 50, not 85. You don't get any bonus health from armour...

Still. Annoying abuse is annoying. They said they are gonna do something about it, so just wait for them to finish it up.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

Fair enough 50 hp and 67 armor.

Still op for a no upkeeper, so you are completely right. It's just not as OP as a 82 hp no upkeep-er xD

Nah, What a sense to retire if you have inexhaustible source of gold? Be a tincan, ride a tank and receive all possible money. Just respec from time to time. Don't you understand, that's one of the sources of cRPG Inflation? Big hole in balance, big danger for game economics. This people can buy any loom after 12 days of gameplay.

Yeah i guess that they could buy heirlooms as fast as other people can do it by retiring.
I dont know if it really are those people who are responsible for the big inflation in market but
someone has to look how much money those people pump into crpg.
People are already paying up to 500k for a heirloompoint.
Either its this, or another exploit giving huge amounts of money, or some more money sinks have to be done.
