Good afternoon fellow CRPG'ers!

Detective Idlewild has put together much time and effort (an hour maybe) to put forth this great travesty! We recently had a very large thread that disputed the Grey Order's use of autobalance and how they would exploit it to be on the same team. After much discussion, a dev enforced that this is against the rules. Infact a well known, albeit generally disliked, player on NA (spook) was recently banned for it.

EDIT: This example was removed, 50/50 chance of autobalance vs. intentional. Kept screenshot to prove that Ganner did not "GTX to play other games". Also disputes his claim that banner balance acting on those in the same clan is the reason they are all together.

Clearly, Chaos is circumventing the rules and are even pushed by appropriately titled BADMIN, Ganner! It makes it very very hard for the opposing team to even move past a 2x multiplyer, if they even get that far, and really ruins the fun.

Please address this gross web of deceit devs/admins!

just throwing this out there... but your screenshots with ganner show 0 wins for each team, and banner balance happens after the first round ends... in the second picture when he is with rhaelys its 0 wins to 1 win... so that would just be banner balance.
as for the rest i dunno cause it doesnt seem to show a lot, though i didnt read the thread about greys doing this so i dont really know the process.

Where's the screenshot of Ganner not dead at the end of the round, which is what would make his name show up in the suicide-balance? Also, the screenshot of ganner is on round 1, before balance is taken into account. Therefore, it's entirely possible that Ganner died that round, and was balanced when banner balance took effect for round 2, leaving no suicide log in the process.

Well poop, as you can see these are the same maps as the players in question come right back to appear on the scoreboard. You can see the same players, and them back again the round right after. The reason I have no screenshots of them in spec is because they quit the server and then come back, and most of the time quickly go to the team they wanted to transfer to. As well, it is very hard to get the perfect screenshot as you cannot Ctrl + Insert while holding tab, I had to quickly press it just after letting go of tab. Surely it's only Chaos members who like to quit so frequently and come back within a round. I have many screenshots where I missed the scoreboard because of this. So perhaps feedback from unbiased admins.

And matey, I agree, i realize now that it could be possible as he was already dead, which wouldn't show. But he still has the first offence! How long this has been going on I do not know!

Just went back into the server for a bit, came in the middle of rounds 2-5. I have screens for rounds 2-5 which show them being on the same team for all rounds (they didn't get autobalanced from 2 onwards).

As you can see, it clearly affects the enjoyment for the rest of the server if the clan goes out of their way to be on one team. The other team is stuck at 1x and Chaos gets a prolonged 5x.

It would be downright asinine to ignore this, this is a very hard thing to capture as proof so things like "try again" from admins are certainly not helpful.

So the few rounds that banner balanced worked at put all CHAOS on the same team, we were exploiting it?

It actually worked for a change one map.

And no I did not go into spec once today at all, I did leave the server a few times after rage quitting to play something else though.

BTW if you were unsure how the balance actually works:

1st priority is team level, then K:D ratios, then banner.  It tries its best to put the same banner on one team after the first round.  then after that the system contiunes to balance based on team level.

It is a testament to the popularity of Chaos that rulebreaking from their members go unpunished. I made a ban request topic for Mentok's intentional teamkill that has since gone unpunished. Have witnessed many admins viewing said forum, and even said topic, with no comments. It now has 36 views with no other posts.

You know that it is not just banner balance that moved your players to one team. You speak of GTXting to play another game, and yet you didnt even "leave" for a whole minute. Neither did Robin, neither did Dexxtaa.
