Caught this at the end of the first season of Prison Break, immediately blown away by the nostalgia.

I've also been hooked on Zero7, reminds me a lot of Air.

All India Radio is pretty great too, I've noticed that they pop up a lot on my pandora stations now. Better than getting Deftones on every station I suppose.

Sorry, not on youtube. Heresy is one of my favorite dark ambient albums. In addition to the droning bass, you have doom-and-gloom screeches that sound like the bugle call to Satan's militia. Heavily distorted voices round it all off.

You get the sound of 1300AD dungeon cells, innocents accused of witchcraft burning at the stake, and existential dread made corporeal.

Speaking of anime soundtracks I like (that's the opening theme for Gantz), here's some more.

RIP Nujabes, you left this earth too soon...

The guy who made the opening theme for Berserk also did the soundtrack to Paprika and Paranoia Agent. He's got a truly unique sound.

I fell in love with the FLCL soundtrack right away when it had just come out, and still love The Pillows.

This one is funny because first of all an anime opening used a song by Duran Duran, and on top of that they had to change the song for the American release due to copyright shit or something...
