^^^ Ulver is good stuff.

I love singing along to this song. The lyrics are winter-themed but I love playing it mid-summer. This is my Christmas in July:

As a counterpoint, here's a summer themed song by Animal Collective. Gives me good feels and makes me wanna go nightwalking on a hot humid summer night.

And some other summertime stuff. The sound of lounging, of beaches... the sound of kickin' back whether it be your backyard or the shoreline. Super Relax.








This one has a special place in my heart. It's hypnotic. Rather than getting tired of the constant beat and synth loop, it draws me in deeper every time it repeats. This is the tropics. This is islomania. This is sinking into a body-temperature body of water.

I seriously wish I could experience Black Church without being an awkward white guy in black people church. Maybe I should try to find a local southern Baptist church that does the snake handling thing.

I'm gonna make a package now, from my current favs from different genres.

First, my current favourite live performance. Check them out, best garage punk band these days. Their latest album came out on Sacred Bones, and it's callled Deep Trip. Make sure to check it out if you like the video below.

Next one is Metz, a garage rock trio from Canada. They are very energetic live. So far they have an LP out. I watched a lot of interviews and these guys aren't just good musicians, but they seem like pretty cool dudes.
