Here's a really cool lo-fi glo-fi vaporwave etc playlist my brother has put together. Don't just listen to it, watch the videos. It's really good.
Click here to enter the late 80s early 90s Neon UndergroundYou like really trippy music o_o not only this post, but in some previous ones too
I dabbled in the realm of psychedelic drugs when I was younger, but my love of weird music predates that. In high school I started to branch out beyond what was on the radio when I finally had my own computer and went crazy with file sharing and torrents. Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada were some of the first "weird" artists I discovered, but I am still discovering new genres and artists that give me that same "oh man, what IS this? It's GOOD!" feeling a decade after I started down that path.
I mostly listen to three kinds of music: IDM/ambient electronic/chillwave/vaporwave, electro/eurobeat/hip-hop beats that make you wanna dance, and doom/stoner/sludge metal. I listen to loads of other stuff too that runs the gamut from A to Z (but not pop country or polka, just can't do it, nope). Also fuck ska. Just fuck it. Thanks for reading my musicophilia biography, here's some cool shit for enduring it.
Don't watch this video at work. It is obscene.
The video to this is taken from the 60s surfing documentary "Endless Summer." It's really good, you should watch it even if you don't care about surfing at all.
