Yes, C-rpg is that awesome.
Yes, C-rpg is the only thing that works on my computer.
Yes, if C-rpg comes up with something clever.
No, I might come back, but I am playing some new games for a while.
No, I am getting rid of C-Rpg, sleep, food, family, for the upcoming game storm.

Age of Decadence and War of the Roses looks pretty interesting...Never heard of either title.
Slow and steady wins the race...Unless there is a fast person in it.

Well, what do you guys think?

What would make you want to play C-Rpg more than any of these upcoming games?

Some seriously big hitter are coming: Battlefield 3, Skyrim, COD, Skyrim, Saints Row the Third, Stronghold, and Skyrim.
BF3: Meh.  I didn't play BF1 or 2, why start now?  It actually looks pretty good, but shallow first person shooters don't really do much for me anymore.  Plus, on the PC, there are just too many cheaters, and while cheaters can be a bother in any game, it absolutely ruins FPSs.

Skyrim: Meh.  That's the type of game I would buy in order to keep it on my computer and maybe play it if my internet goes down.  I always like to keep a couple good "no internet" games around and a good RPG can fit in there.  But I just can't justify playing a single player game when there's the goddamn internet out there, with so many players I could be crushing.

COD: See BF3.
Saint's Row: See COD.
Stronghold: See Skyrim.  I have played previous Stronghold games and they're fun but like any RTS, there's just not enough depth to it to keep me interested.

The only games I foresee that might take time away:

Planetside Next: Strong possibility, if they don't screw it up.  Planetside is the only type of FPS worth playing, and Planetside Next could be very good.  Frankly, though, I think they'll screw it up somehow.  They always do.  Or it'll have APB Syndrome and get shut down by a plague of hackers with no admins in sight.

SWTOR: It will probably be way too much stupid PvE so I don't put a lot of weight in it.  I would still love to see a good PvP Star Wars MMORPG but I don't think this is it.

Guild Wars 2: has potential, but frankly sounds like it will have less depth than Strategus.
Crush your enemies; see them driven before you; hear the lamentations of their women.

I don't get why people comment on games they don't know and have never played.

The only real contender for my attention in that list is Battlefield 3. I've played it a few days now and i have to admit i'm impressed. I've played all the battlefields, from the original 1942 (which i liked a lot) to bf 2 with it's nice desert combat mod and the cool titan battles from 2142 northern strike.

However, i've always felt the infantry combat felt 'clunky' in battlefield. Slow and sluggish with somewhat awkward hit detection and often boring long walks back to the action.

Surprisingly, battlefield 3 feels different. It feels fast and accurate, like counter strike, day of defeat or team fortress. So that's good. Also the destructible environment is really cool; you can blast holes in walls just like in Bad Company 2 and almost every part of the scenery can be destroyed or reduced to rubble. So no cover is permanent and that adds to the fast pace of the game.

Maps are pretty good, although there seems to be an ephasis on non-vehicle combat a bit. I really enjoy the hard core mode where the game is much more realistic. With friendly fire on, no red markers above enemies heads, no health regen and other tweaks it's quite different from the vanilla game mode.

Sound is also quite impressive, although it is a bit much at times, especially when you add the lens flares and other blinding effects. And respawning and instantly dying again is common (especially when trying to spawn on team mates), which can get a bit frustrating.

I do miss the more relaxed pace of cRPG battle mode. Also, battlefield does not seem to be a very social game. Not much talking going on. Must be because most are on teamspeak with their friends. Too bad there is no ingame voicecom (yes, origin does have some voice com but who would use that?) like in the Resistance & Liberation source mod (cool game btw!).

Anyways, to summarize: loving bf3 so far, it has exceeded my expectations. However, i have only played the game for a few days now... whether or not the game remains fun on the long term...  i don't know.

No way that battlefield will entertain me as long or as much as cRPG has done.  :D

Good read, i have to agree they seem to have out done them selfs on the close combat side of things which is what they always lacked.

For me there are no interesting MP games coming out since i don't really care about shooters and others lack enough depth. SWTOR might be interesting but im afraid it's just gonna be another boring PVE grind just in new settings.

There are many good SP games coming out for PC imo but no matter how good a SP game is, most of the time you are still gonna invest only a limited amount of time in then and then be done with it, so nothing to really draw me away from cRPG, unless Starcraft 2 manages to finish the job.

... No, seriously, it is! Also one of me friends birthday.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

BF3 is dragging me away already, far away.

If Skyrim's gonna be what I expected it'll drag me off the edge.

At fifteen, I had the will to  learn ; at thirty, I could stand ; at forty, I had no  doubts ; at fifty, I understood the heavenly Bidding ;  at sixty, my ears were opened ; at seventy, I could  do as my heart lusted without trespassing from the  square....  8-)

I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.
