And the more likely you fall for someone who makes slow attacks on purpose or because he is a newbie.
Using the SP tutorial bot to practice doesn't hurt at all. The big advantage of a tutorial bot on the duel server is that you have something to do when you have noone to fight, until someone else joins.

If you fall for people who hold their attacks/ attack slowly it is your own fault. That is not knowing good timing at all. The people who fall for that are people who make assumptions -- not solid players.
also, uh you wait for the sound. It is not a hard concept.
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower
Formerly known as Marathon.
As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

Holding attacks at the right moment and place can get the best players, not to mention the average ones.

PM Gash, Ecko, or Solanaar, the NA duel server does not hand out gold or xp so it might be a viable spot for an NA server

Yeah, when you're slicing down spammers left and right you don't have the luxury to be careful with your blocking, so if you then suddenly run into someone that holds you'll get hit. That's just the cost you pay for efficient killing. Of course if that holder manages to do it 2 or 3 times on you, then it's your fault.

I demand a Chimpbot!!!

Well, disregard the trollin' around, I find it a great idea, specially against a simulated facehuggin' spammer turtle bot, which is 60% of the population on the servers.

Thumbs up!

Especially in battle due to the quick pace of fights, not so much in duel since you have more time to gauge an opponent. Though a good trick is to do a quick series of atks/blks than hold one's next atk to mess with the pattern an opponent may have fallen into.

Holding attacks is still the main way of killing good people in duels.

1) I would love a parry-bot. I need practice, and the only ones who are good enough to help me practice always kill me quickly.

2) You should make this a poll.

I am still waiting for dummies that report damage taken.  But a parry bot would be good too for the duel server.
