Well, the iPad was free, nuff said. As for my iMac, it has the advantage of running everything windows and everything pc, where as a pc only runs pc stuff (I haz bootcamp!
), and I used to heavily use the graphical portion of the Mac (now it is just for games, sad but true) so I needed specialist programs. Besides, chics dig apple as it makes the room look nicer, especially once they find out that it runs windows stuff with the press of a button.
It also is worth the extra money when someone wants to borrow your computer and has no idea how to use it, and just to mess with them, you hide the real 5 button mouse and plug in the stupid one button freebie mouse.
Also, sparkling apple cider is delicious.
I do admit though that too many people buy Apple products simply bevause it is a sort of a status symbol like a big SUV is, and I think 90% of the people who have one should not own one and just should have bought a pc. Waste of money for the average private owner. Hell, maybe even 95%.
