Next they'll be telling us that there are Mercs doing scene editing, or Mercs making items for the shop, or Mercs being made admin, or Mercs being moderators, or Mercs being in the Dev team, or Mercs posting in the forums, or Mercs whispering in chadz's ear to buff the Mercs, or Mercs doing other things that Mercs should never be allowed to do.

You are completely justified in your feelings. As soon as you let one Merc do something, they'll all want to. Like lemmings. Or Seagulls. Or fashion conscious teens.

You are right, i  feel we are doomed. I suggest banning merc or at least prevent them from hacking the files. I smell conspiracy.

I'm more concerned about whether the program would compromise personal computer security than anything else, if my fears are unjustified then I'll not be worried.

Of course the evil mercs will spy on you and find out what you are all doing in strategus, while being immune to spies themselves because they can well, check a spy's pc and see who he really is. Then they will upload child porn to his pc and call the fbi.

I'm using Steam. Until that's fixed and compatibility is 100% I say no. I like the idea but if that's gonna make me unable to play c-rpg I must state my opinion which is negative.

You can download a copy from taleworlds and use your steam serial to play it and cmpx already mentioned it is close to be usable with steam anyway.
