Taken two days ago, it was averaging -6 degrees Fahrenheit (-21 Celsius), with wind chills from -25 (-31C) to -30 degrees (-34C).  Thought the rabbit was trying to bury a hole in the leaves and make a little nest (it lives under the deck and goes back and forth between some conifer trees [fir tree]).  But apparently it was just trying to find something to eat.  I felt kind of bad for it, so I'm started leaving some food out for it.  Also it's entertaining as hell for my cats :)
