I dont complain much about admins, and there are admins that were even more horrible, like Leiknir or some IG-idiot who banned/ kicked me for teamkilling a teamdamager because I could,

Thomeks behavior is very often not okay.

He favors people he knows and apparently likes over others.
One guy can delay round for minutes, the other guy gets kicked for backpedalling in combat.

Good point, it was prime time for NA, but really early in the morning on EU when the map poll was going up.  I just honestly don't like map changes, I put up with a lot of shitty maps, just want other people to do the same when a map I like is being played   But either way, it's pretty much a non-issue at the end of the day.

I don't know the guy, and I don't really care. But 2 day ban for being afk ONCE on a siege server?

This is how you should have done it:
1. step: Warning, you have nice purple admin chat for it. If no response, repeat yourself.
2. step: Kick, if the story in the thread above is true, you wouldn't have needed to go further.
3. step: 1 hour ban
4. step: 2 day ban

I think you skipped the steps 2 and 3 in this case. Wasn't there, so I can't say for sure. But IMO you're being too hard on him, Unless he has a large criminal record of leeching ofc.

I don't want to disclose how many times, and for what he has been banned for before, or even if. He can tell if he wishes.

He was in light gear and afk, no newbie so he knows he should go spec if he leaves his comp.  Looked like a leecher to me.

In addition to this I might have shortened the ban if he would say sorry for going afk or show another attitude.

If you look like a leecher, and behave like a leecher, well, then most probably you are a leecher.

Also, 2 days is not a very hard ban..

To be fair, if he was going to be AFK for the length of a driving lesson spec isn't the right thing to do anyway. A straight up alt+f4 is the way to go.

Ok I just read previous posts on this.

RenGong_Generals_ZhangLiang, please wear armor that at least give you a chance in combat. In my opinion we cannot have players with high consistent pings, not being able to contribute.

I think cases like this deserves some decision on high latency players from the admin team or devs.

I will unban for now, but if I catch you leeching you are out.

Just to let you know, I'm against having high ping players in EU.
