KH2002 needs 126k Co op points to unlock.

Just admit it you suck at heli driving and you cant hover above a flag , I'm doing that all the time and I havent been taken out yet so *shrug*

Cuz you play on low populated servers and/or against noobs.

And i can hover! But as fast as i get on low altitude away from my base i get Lock On. And my gunner is stupid enough to not bring Flares with only me bringing em.

I myself brought down one of those idiots who hovered with an Attack Heli close to our flag with a frikkin RPG! Epic moment but stupid enemy.

Also Co-Op points? Have never played Co op in BF3. So you can get this weapon without even playing Multiplayer or what? Lol.

What.

Just because I hug the ground so much that no one on foot spots me from more than 75m away means that I'm in a populated server playing against noobs, are you fucking serious?

You better watch out when i get my Thermal Optics for Heli Gunner seat! Infantry on the ground gonna get raped!!! Snipers included!

KH2002 isn't that the last assault rifle btw?

Also Mortar is beast. You gotta try it. Went 28-6 and our team won ofc and got tons of assists with it.

Just watching all red dots on a map run around like crazy chikens and bombing buildings...ah. So good.

It's a co-op unlock, no idea how much but it's pretty good, going to change up on my sniper rifle, I am really quite behind on the whole game because I didn't get it till late (08/11/2011) and as I said I pre-ordered it lol.

All the same I should be getting my first recon service star shortly, very nearly onto that one, hopefully tomorrow after I come back from uni, no idea what it does or what it's for but i'm certain I want it whether or not it's good.

Recon service star gives you a medal, a dogtag and 10.000 points.

@Berenger: Mtemtko is a great heli pilot, I got over 5k heli points in a round when I was a gunner with him driving :D

@Banok: finally, the weapon damage chart... been looking for that one. Thanks.

Also, same damage on Engi weapons than Assault, wat??? No wonder why Engi is the ultimate BF3 class...

Main Battle Tank:

Lmg / hmg/ thermal optics/ reloading mechanism/guided shell/camo that prevents a lock and so on...

Next is canister shell...and reactive freaking armor and last but not least...A THIRD PASSENGER SEAT HAHAHA...when the tank is ready and fully pimped...it will be a beast....

Guided Shell against an enemy tank, followed by an ap shell 0,5 sec later...get out ...fire an rpg 1 sec later.....enemy tank gone most likely....in 5 sec....not taking the time for lock into account.

Tank takes an idiotic amount of points for unlocks.....far over 100k....for a good reason xD

Attack helicopter has good unlocks too.

And about battle value....engineer with a91, at mines/repair tool, rpg and explosive vest is pure havoc.

Recon is next, bcoz whenever a good recon starts laser pointing things....

There is just boom boom all over the place.

I d say...we havent seen 50% of the possible efficiency / destruction yet...bcoz many ppl dont have max pimped vehicles.... :-)

Heheh yeah, quite easy to get points as a tank if you know what you're doing.
Also easy to get points as a heli gunner, but ONLY if you have a decent pilot.

I'm at 31500/60000 for attack heli. Only 21k for tank :D

Lol what derp store did you preorder it from? Gamestop? Lol.

Amazon  8-)

Royal Mail first class was what did it lol

Cheers Vibe, i'm nearly there, my points per minute is very low (185 I believe) so that'll give me a nice boost for a round lol.

If I didn't use any machine guns I would probably have a decent accuracy rate, around 30% I would say, since I use machine guns 80% of the time on the town maps, it's dropping slowly (16.5% last count, three town maps before was 18.7% lol)

Sometimes i troll around too much ingame BF3 and thus my KD goes crap as well as my SPM.

There's not more satisfying than running over AFKers and stupid people waiting at spam like a pack of dogs for Jets/Helis. xD

Lol, large problem I have with some of the maps are the people who camp in the stationary AA guns, especially the one on the ship, the number of times I have been running along, about to take a flag, and some prick has gunned me down with it from the boat is ridiculous. You can't even hit them back, an ex-clan mate (from MW and BC2) and I thought we could take it down, we flew an attack chopper over the ship, blew the shit out of the AA gun with the guy inside, bailed out of the chopper above their transport chopper, dived in that and took off, we got back to land before he took that one down.

We scattered but we now know they're indestructible... Which rather pissed both of us off after some stupid stunt that basically ended in delaying the next wave of attackers because we stole their chopper from under their noses, it's amazing that people don't realise that the two blokes bolting it towards their chopper were actually enemies despite myself firing my pistol at them & Winters firing a machine gun at them.
Epic, fool hardy and we found out there was nothing we could do. The guy ended the map with 25-0 just by camping in the sodding thing.

Since then we've done quite a few more stupid "grab and tags" into the enemy base, one which resulted in us both stealing the two enemy planes and running over four people on the runway.

Anyways, I have to get going to a lecture sadly.

Lmg and hmg are used WITH the canon. Means u release big rounds while filling the reload gap with mg rounds.

The 2nd seat can ofc get mounted with an mg gunner at the same time.

Practically, u get an additional mg for the commander.

But believe me, since I unlocked other stuff....additional mg's have NO USE xD

Cant wait for canister shell and a map like seign crossing.

120 mm Shotgun against foot soldiers, hell yeah.

When tank is finished...i ll finally get my joystick and pedals to work.....and then....beware of my air supperiority.

Helicopter must be easy when having decent, realistic controllers...muahaha....(and ecm jammer) xD

I want CITV Station for Tank naow! Btw How about Reactive Armor or whatever the hell it's called, i've unlocked alot of stuff for IFV and it's apparently the last thing u unlock i believe. Says instead of you taking damage the tank does. Doesn't it means the tank will go down easier?

Principal of armor piercing weapons (Armor piercing shell or Rpg as an example):

On impact the shell/grenade explodes.
The explosion heats up (~4000 degrees ) and accelarates an carried amount of metal towards the tanks.

The accelarated amount of metal forms a thin stream, due to its high velocity and temprature, it will go through the tanks armor....resulting in a 4000 degree warm stream of metal INSIDE THE TANK...causing injuries and possible explosion of the ammo inside.

To prevent this, reactive armor was invented:

Basiclly many square metal plates with explosives on it, forming some sort of 2nd armor.

When the before mentioned shell or grenade hits this armor, the afore mentioned metal stream gets reflected by an counter explosion of this reactive armor plate, effectively leaving the actual tanks armor without a scratch.

Reactive armor will be a massive surviveability bonus....xD Why do u think it comes pretty much last?
