I think I *may* have chambered an arrow before. But I can't really be sure. But I heard the block sound and didn't get hit, and the archer was confused too.
Edit: It was very close range

In the ninja clan there were a few that could do this. It requires zen-ness though.

Yeah, ninjas do this all the time, mostly before breakfast. I could tell you how to do it, but then ninjas had to kill you - sorry.

I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

no, i am fully in favour of this, just for the sheer awesomeness. It wouldn't happen often, but when it did you'd be all OMG FUCK YEH!
yeah, and then you get headshotted by the next arrow... :D

hey at least you tried man if anything it gets you a couple steps towards the archer or a couple steps toward safety

its better then "oh shit arrows i cant do anything"

after all its not all that easy to chamber a blow(though very possible to grasp and master eventually), to chamber an arrow must be extremely hard if not impossible with certain weapons and builds being to slow to counter and the fact an arrow is more 3d then a melee attack seeing how it can come from more directions and arcs while a melee strike is 90% of the time on a flat 2d plane

Ok snoozer carry around some rocks and just spasm the attack and cancel like your gunna throw and then not throw like you have never done before like I mean super spam that shit. Now listen and pray that the enemy is aiming roughly at that arm area if you do it just right I am told you can chamber an arrow and that it is nothing short of a blind miracle.

I am going to try to chamber arrows tonight, I will let you guys know if anything crazy happens, or if I just die 100,000 times.

Don't have anything better to do anyways XD
