You've watched some tutorials I hope?! When you go fast and up hill, use jetpack and press "s" instead of "w", that way your momentum makes you go up, you don't wanna use jetpack too much while skiing because falling increases speed and jetpack will decrease the fall speed... and also rebind jump/jet away from right click. Your right click should be only "jet" as jump/jet will actually slow you down when skiing fast.  Then the rest is pretty much all about knowing the maps.

I watched a few, but none of them had any really useful information in them. Just obvious shit: "aim for downward slopes, don't jetpack while you're going down", stuff like that. No specifics, nothing actually helpful.
