That's because he has athletics and good ps and has skill (!). If he's still doing good cav are balanced. When killing stuff becomes troublesome for him, cav will be UP. Before the first cav nerf, even the biggest idiots who couldn't kill anyone on foot had great scores as lancers... right now xbowmen took their place...

suggested defining the type of demage by the projectile and not by the launching weapon like it is in F&S long ago.

do devs not really care suggestion corner?

 (i know theres suggested a lot of crap which doesnt care anyone further after it was posted. just asking seriously)  :?

Didn't they say accuracy with bows was increased now? Doesn't seem to be. My reticule grows veeerrry very fast and the bow doesn't seem more accurate than before at all....And I know my eyes are not broken suddenly^^
But maybe it's just because of the nojumping. It's very hard now to find the perfect moment to stop walking while you draw your bow...walk half a second too long and you have 1/4 of a second to aim and shoot -.-


Dear devs, I don't know how you calculate your damage etc, but archery damage has been nerfed. Played a bit now and it is reduced.
One example: There was a peasant witha  tunic ! and I didn't oneshot him, although I have mw longbow and mw bodkins and I am lvl 32 with 7 pd and 8 wm.....Usually people in heavier armour died after 1 shot -.-

images on the homepage have nothing to do with you or your game install.
needs to be fixed on our end.

Why not first prepare and then release, its like you give us a car but the leather for the seats you want make later or with other words you release patches like people in italy drive cars. And so many börek and plüme hats!

I have got some problème with the whole Kazakh equipement

Kazakh Outfit skin is the same as Kuyack

Kazakh hat and boot got some problem with the "sun" I don't really know how to describe it.

The world is split in two categorie.
The one digging, and the one with the loaded crossbow.

But never forget that the one digging, got a big shovel.

oh yeeeesssss.
try to ride a naked nervous and fast horse OR try to ride a heavy, slow moving horse that has been trained during years for not being afraid of combat and going straight with only a few foot movement of his rider ( because the rider generally had the two hand busy ) think about it...

All horses would be broken before being used, and ask yourself, why do you have to train that armored horse for years? To eliminate the unnaturalness and the uncomfortableness of wearing all that barding. The horse is only slow moving because of the extra hundreds of pounds of armor. If you want to give coursers a +5 to maneuverability and speed than sure, require more riding skill. Hell even give back the loom nerf to coursers with a couple extra stat points and it might be ok. And anyone with an Arabian is even more screwed.

Plus this is two major nerfs to cav on the heels of an already major cav nerf. How do you call it balancing when you dont even make conservative modifications? one at a time?

It doesn't look as bad as most of you said. But I kinda feel sorry for poor buggers, most of them are helpless on teh battlefield :D

But good cavs still kill everything in their path, 45 minutes ago Leed scored 54-4...

This is a horrible metric. Carebare harmless peasant used to dominate entire teams with peasant robes and a shitty club. That doesn't mean it should be nerfed.

redownload the hotfix from the first post in this thread and check if the Kazakh Outfit is working with that.
for the lighting probs i will look into that at some other point.
doesn't seam like something that needs insta fixing.

Cmp has been working on it for ages.  The suggestion to do so was around for a very long time, probably before yours.  It was simply impossible with the existing code.  Cmp had to do what was basically impossible.
