Yes donkeys with 1-0 riding skill for the slow idiots in my clan so that they can keep up. Should cost as much as sumpter and be much slower but little to no riding. Also no donkey archers and no shields on donkey. Donkey can only trot not gallop so no real speed boost.

I say req 0 and allow archers and shields.  If donkeys are going to be really really fragile I see no need to unrealistically handicap their riders besides.  If they're req 0 I suspect they'll most be used for:
- transport for knights on horsemaps
- getting 1 good couched lance hit off before falling and fighting normally
- low-level horsearchers/playing horsefly
- sex jokes

Remember donkey-riders they'll be the easiest prey to light horsemen like ROHYPNOL.  Without the maneuverability of being on foot, or the speed of being on horseback, a donkey player will be easy prey for getting a lance in their ass.

I foresee a siege map overrun with the abandoned donkeys of impatient knights and peasants alike, causing havoc to those unfortunate enough to intercept their random walking path.  Im liking this idea  :twisted:

I like the idea of donkeys, but i think it should be a punishment for teamkillers like this :
it should have the stats of a sumpter wth req. 0 (so even no riding skill characters have to ride it) and when u bump into something/someone u fall down from it (btw the only way to unmount must be bump or get the donkey killed)

I can already imagine hordes of plate armored knights riding donkeys... Shame has never killed though.

Don't forget to add sounds and the typical donkey bray. This would make the horde even more special. :lol:

Donkeys, sure, goats, whynot? But flying mounts?? Only if I can have  shadowdash,  my instateleport, and my magic misile.

I don't know if I support this... I would not like to see a donkey invasion.
If it is not possible to make the horse model smaller it should be considered a big donkey. Thus the health should not be set to 50. That is just ridiculous if it is the same size as all other horses.
Just make it slower and less manuverable.

The price should be higher than sumpter horse to prevent every foot soldier to get one (with their spare 1 skillpoint put into riding).

Maybe something like this for the donkey:
Donkey 7500
hit points 80
body armor 10
requirement 1
horse speed 30
horse maneuver 35
horse charge 4

These are the stats of a sumpter horse:
Sumpter Horse   4789   
hit points 90
body armor 10
requirement 2
horse speed 35
horse maneuver 37
horse charge 9

... And don't forget the mules and zebroids! :)
Camels are also an option but then the 3D model needs to be changed or it will just look stupid.
