What city should the NA/US West Server be hosted in?

Why don't you guys act pro-actively with this idea? Scott already has permission to run a server. Why not petition Scott to base the server somewhere out west?

His server currently maintains a very low population. If people would be willing to populate/donate to his server if it was a west coast server, he might be amiable to changing locations.

Yeah, Austin would be muuuch better due to their amazing server hosting abilities. If you haven't noticed yet, there's a lot of mmo's with servers running out of austin, and I wonder why that is..

Even though I am a Seattlite, I would still say L.A. because it is the most "central" of the West Coast.

Dallas really shouldn't be on the list, don't make me draw on a map like a kid just to show you where Dallas is (hint, if you draw a line right down the middle of the US you will be very close to Dallas on the South part of the line.... and we already have 3 centrally located servers...

Really it's kinda moot though, the person setting up the server would decide where it should go.

Dallas is the same distance to the west coast as Chicago is.  I'd prefer Seattle or Vancouver BC since i live an hour away from both but something regional would be fine.  LA would be great.    Maybe even Las Vegas or something.   

Of course a person who sets up the server gets to decide.  But some guy setting up a server in Dallas isn't getting a donation from me, while a Seattle hoster would.
