I've watched people rape faces off at level 11, and my own characters were actually "complete" at level 22. You don't need to be level 30 or have heirlooms to compete in the current version of cRPG, you just need to know how to play the game. I recommend Native for that. You'll see.

The only thing I would suggest is to bring back the 1 week retirement. I feel like I need to grind my main character all the time. Plus it puts a limit to high gens constantly retiring.Maybe as well a small xp gain per hour when your crpg account is offline. (10k exp per hour?).

Lvl 24 for 15/15 is totally viable for 1h shield. You can fight from 21 up.

@Grey

lol 5 hours.

4.4mil for level 30

at x1 on 1st gen that would be...

4400 minutes. aka 73.3333333 hours.

if yours at x5 for the ENTIRE time you could do it in 880 minutes aka 14.667 hours. and if you are 11th gen and can have x5 for the whole time, then 7.333 hours... for level 30. so even 11th gen would take a minimum for 14.6667 hours to reach 31 (at x5 the whole time).

casual players play like 1-2 hours a day? 7-14 a week... average multiplier lets say 2.5... from 1-31 would take about 58 hours. so 1-2 months for a casual player.

+1 for Melting Minds with math!

I went from 30 to 31 in about 10 hours. Gen 6.

I you make it easier to level up after level 30 (or whatever cap you define) - regardless in which way - it will lead to more grind. Because people will again be grinding for level 35+.

Leveling from 1-30 is fine at the moment. You don't need to reach instantly level 30 to have fun while you play and kill some guys. And while you have fun it is nice have something to be looking for.

And my main is level 30 right now and he feels very powerful to me. I play him and have fun and if will hit 31 in some weeks i will be happy, thats it.

10 hours is still alot of time

If Im trying to access a file on my harddrive, yes, 10 hours is a long time. But when I'm leveling up in an RPG, 10 DAYS wouldn't be considered a long time

I know that I am known as a masochist that hates grind. We all know Upkeep is far to low, and actually there is an issue with reitrement, but it is not that 30 -31 is too small.

The thing is that the non-casual player does have an advantage and it will become only greater af strategus.
I am gen 6, and already I lvl up very very fast. I am unsure though if it is an issue powerlvl-wise in lets say 4 months. But I have a feeling that in 3-4 months we will be back to a very hard core group of players lvl 33+ with 10+ heirloomed items. Is this a problem? It might!

So what I am trying to say is that if anything getting bonus for retiring is too easy.

The incentive to keep playing to gain an advantage over others (the rpg element) is still too large! an rpg element is completely UNSUITABLE for cRPG, please make the game more boring so less people play it.

Seriously. Annoying mouth breathers who play a leveling up game and complain about having to level up

I went from 30 to 31 in about 10 hours. Gen 6.

i call bullshit.

4.4mil is level 30. 8.7mil is 31.

so you needed 4.3mil exp to go 30-31.

4,300,000 divided by 600 (10 hours = 600 minutes) = 7166.6667
you would need to make 7166.6667 exp per minute.

6th gen gives you 500 extra xp per multiplier, so 1500,3000,4500,6000,7500.

keep in mind, if a round ends at 3:34 left... you had 26 seconds that didnt get you any exp (at least thats how it seems to work, correct me if im wrong).

so you are saying that you averaged 7166.6667 exp per minute for 10 hours straight. that means you had 5x for 10 hours... basically. (if you dont even factor in the wasted time on rounds that dont end exactly as your xp ticks). more realistic would be 16 hours, which is how long it would take if you had a 3x multiplier for 16 hours.
