I took up a bow in order to stop people from getting their blood all over me but there are still inconsiderate people who charge at me, dodge my slow motion arrows and force me to cut their throats with my langes. Do people not know it costs to clean that hat? You should see my bills, the leather is fine, that just needs a wipe down, but the straw soaks it all up.
So, emplor you people, please stop charging me and be a good little tin can and stay over there. Thank you.
+3 straw hat is still 3 retirements...25 or 26 million xp...even if it only gives you 6 head armor it still took 3 heirloom points and 26 million xp...you're going to have to pay close to a million or more for 3 loom points or a +3 straw hat.
Yes however because it's a fairly useless item, the price drops since people can get rid of it. Basic economics states that if the demand for something is low then the price will inevitably drop so that the seller can get rid of the item regardless of what the cost was to get it.
Also, these days 26 million exp is practically nothing and during my trading career which was cut short during my uni exams, i've not bought anything for "near" 1 million, even trading for other people I have managed to secure x2 items for lower than the market asking price just by negotiating.
You can never take anything at face value or you'll end up looking the fool as someone walks away having taken 1 million gold off you for something as worthless as a straw hat. As much as I would like to keep to the myth, my money is also valuable to my clan mates. We're the Caravan Guild after all, although most of us are millionaires (granted that's not hard these days)
