How would they do that and why would they need to? Is DICE becoming the ultimate internet police or something? Intentionally or not, i'm pretty sure that most people connected to the internet would have something that would be called "pirated" and getting this thing to work correctly would be a massive inconvenience since you'd have so many false positives you'd might as well give up.

Old BF2 player here. Bf3 seems promising, but I hope this attempt at becoming a COD-like (retarded solo campaign, retarded tiny maps with full infantry...) will not be too prevalent.

The Battlefield PC series were the only "casual" shooter that had a full range of vehicules, each one of them useful, with it's own handling, weaknesses and strengths. I hope they will not turn this into two swarns of infantry shooting and stabbing each other... I don't know what's the deal with CoD. Maybe they think "Modern Warfare" means "18th century warfare"...
