I got a 3000+ tick once.  I think it gives you ticks every so often (say 5 minutes) and I'm pretty sure it takes into account your kills during that time period.

Goretooth don't goad them into attacking OUR castle... :P

just fought the FCC vrs Hosp 500 to 250 fight. Killed around 41 with 0 deaths due to hosp spawning without equipment and running around all crazy. fight lasted for around 30 minutes or so chasing them down. 0 exp gained. Saw ticks but they all said 0 exp. checked after the fight and gained nothing.

I think I got 180,000 xp during the Hawaha fight. Not sure exactly.
