after spending some time with more agi-oriented builds, i decided to try out the different approach and roll on the str boat, i was thinking about this:

5athl should be enuff to do the footwork and 8 ps just seems so sweet...was thinking of swapping IF to riding for the fun, but as i might stick to this char and not retire it anymore, i have to think twice about it...any tips, suggestions?

Well, I'm approaching my first retirement (yay!!) so will be looking to rectify my mistakes. Was my first ever build! And it was fun to use

Next gen, I think I will be staying with my 1H+shield build, as I'm still practicing my 2H blocking. I think I may go 18/18 like someone posted earlier. Would like to keep that 2 in riding though, since I hate having to run to castles and such (plus I can experiment and learn as a noob cav!) I am open to your suggestions/advice though!!

Also, what do people generally heirloom first? I'm still trying out different weapons and styles so I suppose it would be best to save that point.

Some people suggest that armor is the best thing to heirloom. A nice suit that you wear often, or the Mail Gauntlets would be good.

I made the mistake of heirlooming my Heavy Bastard Sword; it's one of my least favorite weapons now.

So far I've just got an Arbalest, Steel Bolts, and Bastard Sword while wearing a Ragged Outfit and Rus Shoes. I plan to get either a Morningstar, Bar Mace, or Miaodao when I acquire enough funds.

I am going for this gimmick build this gen:

I'll use a light lance, which is the fastest and longest thing for a 9 STR char. I guess I'll bounce a lot in CC, though, but we'll see.

Monk: I had a 27/12 pole build 2 gens ago, and it was quite effective with an awlpike. Maybe 24/15 will be even better.

Using +2 Heirloomed Churburg Cuirass with 59 armor + 12 Heavy Gauntlets = 71 Armor with 95 hitpoints.
Almost always top of the scoreboard, slow as hell but you can 1 hit almost anyone and laugh at archers or 1h trying to do some damage to you. One of the most fun characters I played so far.

Usually Charger, Plated charger or Rouncey if I want to save some money + arabian sword and light crossbow for horse archers and pikemen. Like it very much, started playing yesterday and already almost 2:1 K/D ratio but you need a pile of gold for it to work.
