Did Uhtred quit or are there two uhtreds?
I guess theres two uhtreds now, hahahyep, Just about every clan does that in strat if they get the chance.
Ah, did not know this. First time I'd seen it. Most unfortunate. And I believe I have seen an Uhtred in the Hospitallers, and another who is not affiliated with a clan. But NH_Uhtred is the only character I have.
The point you seem to be missing, was thatwe were trying to take the last flags but couldn't with all the equipment on the ground (not to mention when an enemy is near you can't put the flag down).
If we're trying to capture all your spawn points what do you suggest we do, let you guys kill us as we're trying to take the flags?
Know what you're talking about before you bitch about something. If the flag system was easier to put down the flags (or it just automatically did it for you when you stand on it and no enemy is around) we would have captured the castle 15 minutes before we finally did.
You really are suggesting that we should have let you guys spawn, and then keep fighting you on "fair" terms? Since when is "fair" ever in the vocabulary of warfare? You do everything in your power to crush the enemy.
This is a video game. I think video games are about having fun, but I often tend to forget some people take video games more seriously then I do. This was one of those times I had forgotten, and I apologize. But the point you seem to be missing, I do not recall saying anything about it being unfair. I said it was cheap, and still think so. The battle was lost for the defenders long before the spawns were camped. But I don't see a problem with letting the defenders spawn, but
boxed in the tower. We were out of armor and soon to run out of weapons, so the conclusion and the k/d would have been to same. Though you are right, there is nothing fair, in warfare. And yes, you do everything in your power to crush the enemy.
In real life.
"Once war is forced upon us, there is no other alternative than to apply every available means to bring it to a swift end. War's very object is victory, not prolonged indecision. In war there is no substitute for victory." -
General Douglas MacArthur.
I don't think he was thinking about virtual victory at the time he said this.
So it appears you take this game more seriously then I do, and care more about virtual victory, then fun, where as I prefer to have fun. Fair enough. I respect your view on this, and I will not push this issue further.
