Does geocities still exists? If you're looking for cheap webhosting, I use justhost. It's $5 per month. I haven't seemed to hit a bandwidth cap yet, and the domain name comes free with the monthly payments. However, the downside may be that your initial payment is for 2 years worth of service. You can cancel at any time and get the unused portion of that back, but the down payment might stop you if you don't currently have that much.
