Cancel what I said about Bar Mace.

The guy retired, now has 4 PS and STILL IS UNBLOCKABLE with the Heavy Bar Mace.

Damn ridiculous!

Just does a lot less damage now until he levels up the str.

Thats fucked up. I would like to see blockcrush removed totally (I wouldn't miss it, really!), but now I hear it got even worse?

WHY???

Oh and a decent changelog at least one single time would be really nice!

Was the degrading chance of weapons increased? I had to pay 9 of 10 rounds for my blade  :?
Joker makes a very good point.
î saved for eternety (without context )

oh no guys bar mace totally op D: D: D:

Option 1. Just dodge it, for the love of god, take advantage of his slow speed + low range. If you have any footwork the barmace spammers are almost free kills.

Option 2. Or if you want to gamble and be fancy: As soon as you see him trying to overhead you, Jump and overhead chamber it, and kill him. If it works for me and I am clearly some awful player in comparison to you guys, it will work better for you. Right?
Quick explanation for those who don't know: Crushthrough weapons CAN crush through chamber blocks. However, if you jump and prepare your overhead swing after he starts his, you catch his attack earlier in the animation while it is traveling at a lower speed, so it will not crush through. Since you are so close proximity to the player, it is also almost a guaranteed chamber if you know how to time chambers. Some practice required.

Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower
Formerly known as Marathon.
As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

Your options are invalid.

Only remote chance you might have against a competent person with heavy bar mace is facehugging and hoping your so close he cant break through (haven't tried)

Not sure what crap bar mace players you fight but come into the aussie server where players are at a level where you'll get your ass handed to you by a guy with a pitch fork and no armor (OldPeasant_II)

I'm using the Highland Claymore and I think that the nerfing is fine enough.
And nerfing shouldn't be the same for all weapons.. It should be relative.

yes "relative" but why buff medium cost swords and nerf the most expensive ones? was h claymore really so 1337 and over the top in stats? now its just the looks. its broken. Great axe is better in everything exept range, and it costs 1/3 gold. And dont tell me "go and equip great axe if ist so good" cuz I already did.

I wouldn't say that! And the claymore is still an effective weapon, if used the right way. Also; the claymore has much more reach than the great axe and a quite effective thrust. :)
And it ain't unbalanced, either.

I don't like the fact that many items have worse stats but actually cost more just because they look good. That's the mistake all developers make, I have no idea why they do that.

Some things are probably just expensive, so that they can work as status objects. Like the two versions of the hourglass gauntlets where you can buy a gilded version with the same stats, but a higher price. If you buy the gilded pair, you're showing people that you are so rich that you can afford to pay extra just for the style.
Actually some more status objects would be nice, like more ornate versions of the swords, etc. :)

Also, from a logical point of view; wouldn't gold be more expensive than iron, yet less usable?
