questions about weapons

i have 3 questions
1. is better yumi or horn bow and why?
2. is better to use
two hand weapon, 1 pack of arrows and bow or one hand weapon,2 packs or arrows and bow??
3. i read on some weapons secondary mode what that mean???

1. Depends on your build, but normally the Horn bow is better. The Yumi is a bit slower and have less missile speed, but have more damage and accuracy. Between those two I would take the Horn bow, but the best bow on foot is the Rus bow in my opinion. Yumi is great for Horse Archers though.

2. 1 pack of arrows is doable, but 2 packs can be a blessing sometimes. Also if you have 1h, you can also use the 2 slot bows and a 0 slot 1hander (like the hammer or handaxe, very nice weapons) AND you have have more diversity in the weapons you can choose. Then again 2hander is easier than 1hander without shield so if your not a good melee player than 2h might be the best.

3. Secondary mode means the weapon has an alternative attack method. Like a throwing axe can be also be used as a close combat weapon. This is done by pressing x ingame.

Also there is some 1handed weapons that have a 2handed secondary mod (by pressing X too)

I think that this limitation with slots isnt good before that i use 2hand, long bow and 2 packs of arrows but this is 6 slots now
i think 0 slot weapon is too week
i will take Horn bow, Bodkin Arrows and Danish Greatsword
any suggestion for armor

Between the two, hornbow for ground shooting, Yumi if you are a horse archer.

Horn Bow is the way if your going foot archer, never used the yumi bow so idk about that. Rus Bow is way better than the Horn Bow imo, but its two slots. For armor, i wear a red gambeson(the sweater thingy), leather gloves, Rus Cav shoes and a nasal helmet, not to heavy, but not that low armor either.
