Those shields would be nice. And about the formation, well I can not see any usefulness but it would be fun

I can see 2nd floor Shieldwalls with archers on top

I'm not positive, but can't you just raise the shield up above your head already, or at least pretty high up?

I dont see why we would need an alt fire mode.Just increase the angle in which you can raise the shields so you can put it over your head.

Oh and Square shields would be extremely awesome.Maybe a Cheap medium one which is not that good, a normal expensive medium which is good and a big one which is pretty expensive.

Because you wouldn't be able to see where you are walking.

BUMP
To make this idea alive...
Well, actually idea of that would be best for big shield carriers-but-not-only. Reason? Mates keep walking upstairs with this shit above their heads! Yarr.

Eventually also adding heavy boulder stones for some peasant like boys to throw them from walls with nice force to knock that block, and lighter stones or projectiels to POP OUT!

To make it straight, its medieval 2. On right side of screen there are soldiers with shields over heads climbing on ladders.

Yeah, yeah, still without models there wont be anything added (Square Shields) and a suggestion without models
is not worth the time you spent to write it.

TA da, here you go!
There are lots of models for shields -- if you can't model, go looking around MB repository and such for a decent square shield model, and put it here.
it might make your suggestion more interesting.
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower

As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

Its the suggestions corner.

Its ok to first see if the community would like this, if the reactions are positive you can start making models, or ask someone if you cant yourself.

So, any volunteers willing to give him a hand in his idea?
