Who is your favorite player?

ToD, I would think the sheer force of a english longbowman that practised (its still a law, but nobody enforces it anymore) it every sunday would have the self control and the sheer force to hit a plated knight and push him back, and if he is in a attacking stance (not a defence stance, because then he wouldnt fall over, only stagger) he would have a pretty good chance to fall on his fat ass...

ooops I forgot about the Welsh bowman, you wouldn't have time to fall down, you would be dead, enough said

I wish. Real life called, it said you should do a little research before inane typing. A welsh or english archer in his mid twenties can fire arrows off every 5 seconds when needed. Tiring, and innacurate, but rate of fire is there. Now, I would love for archery to take a realism hit: MUCH more innacurate at anything past 100 yards, slightly longer reloads, but when your shot full in chest in anything but plate, your dead (unable to fight: dead/disabled/unconscious). In plate a longbow strike in chest should knockdown, since they did when the arrowhead was not a bodkin: Also the ability to pick which arrow to use with each shot, bodkins for plate and broadheads for mail and less. So, realism is NOT an issue, I agree, but if it was shields would require skill to use rather than just holding rightmouse.

You know exactly what he meant when he said that longbow men in game could fire accurately much quicker in game than in actuality. A good English Archer averaged 8 - 10 arrows per minute with an exceptional one reaching 20 or so per minute. So nit picking and saying that they could rapidly fire off half assedly drawn arrows was basically a moot point and we all know it. Also, having such a mechanic in game would absolutely break this game in the way of having a learning and playing curve. Hypothetically speaking, I  as a new player  personally don't want to feel as if I have to empty my pockets and put on the bulkiest, heaviest armor I can in order to survive an onslaught of arrows, especially if i'm not a heavy strength build user. We'd be effectively nerfing agi builds(AGAIN) and indirectly buffing str builds as ranged right now is one of the only things killing them off in battle.

Well my dear readers, I use bows, but I can't use a Longbow, fucking thing is the same size as me :3 (we portuguese people are small) I use a traditional Magyar bow (yes I use a HA bow, yes I am ashamed >.>) and those things are powerfull, and there quite small...

He's a pretty cool guy though.

I'd make a list of everyone I like on the servers, but I don't want to miss anybody.  It'd be easier to make a list of people I can't stand and thats just not very nice.

I'm honestly starting to like you man, and I truly wonder how is it possible to hear such things from a Pecores guy, clan suffering from Agincourt Syndrome with like 80% dedicated archers in their ranks. I think you and Coin are in a wrong clan mate.

One of my favourite players has to be 22nd_Locco. He ALWAYS manages to headshot me with some throwing weapon, be it axes, darts or knives. It's become a recurring theme to me!
