The problem is, many good players either quit the game or stopped being cool after the January patch. cRPG became super-serious business with the upkeep and level-balanced chars.

Basically anyone who fights really really weird.  For a guy who pointedly refuses to use the right mouse button im_with_stupid does surprisingly well in the melee.

CheapShot and chico are not so sharp shooters but they choose very good and unexpected angles to put an arrow into your ass from.
Also Tenne, I dunno why. It's always fun to read the in-game chat and watch his playstyle, he has some charisma.
Cicero is a very positive guy and his presence on the server always brings some lulz. Dude, you rock

Hmm, I enjoy watching Matey and Kalam play.  They don't know it, but I'm watching them... 

I've gotten a bit bored of watching all the guys with the Lordly 70+ armor.  It's just not as exciting as the ones who could potentially be taken down with a practice sword if they screw up.

I'm not good at remembering names, so it wouldn't be fair for me to actually try to name the people whose style's of play I like because of all the names I'd miss. So I'll just describe the types of players I like.


I just like the team players that don't bitch and don't talk shit.

Most anybody carrying a pike is probably someone I like to play with. Pikemen are pretty much designed to work with others, both in protecting against cav and supporting the infantry melee.

I like the patient shielders that are happy to just push in with allies and wait for good openings to try to attack. Or they charge archers to force them to draw their melee weapons. But I'm not so fond of the ones that are so eager to get kills that they die long before their shield is destroyed because they are busy face-hugging and lowering the shield to attack even when a bunch of allies are trying to help.

I like allies who, when they notice me on my horse, try to keep the enemy distracted while giving me a clean shot to stab and run over the enemy while being ready with a followup blow of their own.

I like allies who look to see where other allies are going and know enough to make sure they have enough support before attacking. And those that fall back when outnumbered, or try to delay/slow the battle to buy time for the main allied force to win its battles. And those that make proper use of voice commands to warn and instruct allies.

As mad as it makes all of us we all know Goretooth is fun to watch when he is in his armor and just takes on droves of lesser, hardened fighters.

Dan_ATS - A NewYorker who is just as skilled as he is hilarious.

Mano, Ryden and Marcus are my favorite clan mates to watch

Air/Pseak - Awesome to watch him do so well with any build he tries.

Cyranule - One of the best players i've ever seen in NA

Tyrian - Easily one of if not THE best swordsman in BKS.

Templar_Tommy - The first good player I ever followed in CRPG

Templar_Casimir -  A dashing warrior with a Mustache and accent to match

Pebblepusher (forever and always my favorite thrower)

Cheapshot- A hilarious/ great thrower. A great sport also.

Philosoraptor/Mike -  A funny and great player in his own right. Honestly dude, if it weren't for players like you who just played for fun and didn't have their serious pants soldered to their penis, I probably would have quit a long time ago.

I forgot to mention the GK guys. They have some of the best cavs ive seen. The ones i remember well:

We tend to stick to the smaller servers a bit more now I think. It's no fun having your horse instashotted by archers/crossbows/throwing when horses die so easily now and with the massive upkeep it costs you to do such a thing.

It's been a while since I've had to duel you as HA! I never looked forward to it. I'm sure we'll run into you on strat at some point

Me. I am perfect, and deserving of my own praise.

Really though, my favorite players are the ones who play nicely. Anyone who watches my back, or doesn't delay in order to up their score by maybe one or two kills. I particularly enjoy it when a random player and myself end up being battle buddies for a round--I save him/her, he/she saves me, and for the rest of the round we stick together and pwn (a relative term, given that I suck).

On a similar note: connsider yourself lucky if, while I am using my native american thrower/1her, I declare myself your spirit guardian and follow you around

To mention specific names: Goretooth, because its just so fucking lulzy to see him tank it up and simply demolish wave after wave of pubbies. Tyrian , because he's fucking unstoppable and a ridiculously good 2h player. Is_this_annoying is fun to watch. ROHYPNOL (may he rest in peace) was rather inspirational--myself, being an up and coming lancer back in the day.
