Its an error in the game, just asking for a fix.  Like maybe angling weapons on back slightly different now that they made this lame goblin archer animation.  No need to get uppity about it, should be able to use glaive and iron staff adn all the other cool weapons without a display error on screen.

I agree. Its so ridiculous. Most/ Many archers have bow plus a huge weapon on their back. lol?
A small mace, pick, sword, that should be the melee weapon an archer is allowed to use, def no 2h and def no polearm.

Cavalry spotted!

Its impossible to aim and shoot with a heavy weapon hanging over your shoulder. But realism is not an argument, so nevermind.

 Now I'm starting to understand where those troll points come from. Fyi you can carry shitloads of weight on your back and it wont affect your accuracy. Drawing is bit more difficult but not that significant. I've personally shot a bow that was at the edge of my drawing capability while wearing a full camera back. That's one of them big ones with 2 dslr bodies and tons of lenses and a tripod on the back of that. That weights tons. Try it sometime. It's fun.
Why is everybody telling me to think? I think, I just don't show it.
