you should start a bank Apsod!  buy low, sell high.  When people do need large sums, you'll have it on hand.  On the flip side, other ppl get in a pinch and will often sell below value because they need the coin for some short term gain.

Hmmm.... Interesting. That is pretty much what I have been doing for a while, buying cheap heirlooms from people on the market and then selling them for profit.
