A random poll, aka a poll for no valid reason, violates our server rules, and needs to be punished.
In most cases it fails.
If not, the person who did nothing wrong is banned for 30 mins.

I dont think so.
There is no chance to catch those cowards that press 1, but you can punish the person who started it.
But this has nothing to do with Varjags case, since he had (at least in his opinion) a valid reason, being insulted.
However, he was only kicked, not banned, so in the worst case he lost his multiplicator. If this kick was necessary, or if another warning had been enough, that is like you said, the admin who was present did what he could, what he felt is right to get control over the situation.
In Varjags words: When a police officer sees you punch someone in the face because the other guy has insulted you, he will (or at least should) interrupt. Its up to the police officer to decide if its enough to "threaten" you, or if its better to attack you physically. Bah, I am too old for this shit. Way too old.
Also we are just players too -except Finished, he is god- and might not always make the best decision that we could -except Finished, he is always right- with hind-sight.
