So there I was headed into another of Veluca's best taverns when a guard with one eyebrow came up to me and said I was wanted outside the city's gates for a drink with the new owner of Veluca. Knowing the new owner was not of Velucan blood, I sensed danger but couldn't resist seeing who this new person was.
I summoned my 889 bodyguards and we headed outside to meet with the man when the city gates were shuttered right as I exited the city. A shameful tactic but I foresaw this. I headed to another gate with guards known to me that would let me back in when a messenger came up to me with a tattered note.
