F2P now. Get it, retards. It's really good.

Like Dota/LoL teamfights without the grinding or leveling up. Super responsive controls, very skill and reaction based. Or as a lot of people describe it, like WoW battlegrounds but with a top-down view.

Played it a bit during beta way back, felt like it would get boring fast.

Don't see why it would, the skill ceiling is really high.

I guess matches in a strick meta could be playing somewhat similar. But I'm talking out of my ass atm, I am going to give it a try again. If I think about it again, I think I tried this in some alpha and not actually beta.

Update, enjoyed the few matches that I played. There's a decent amount of skills per character to control and from the ability descriptions that I read, some are pretty unique. Games are fast which is nice if your team is trash. Hopefully they add more heroes (champs?), the hero pool isn't that big. Also felt like it takes quite a while to unlock a new hero, I think I only received like 6 currency for a win, but heroes are costing from 900 to 5000. Kinda like League of Legends in that regards, guess I'm just spoiled by Dota's practices.

They're adding 1 hero a month for the next 5-6 months at least.

Making 900 coins doesn't take long at all, but you mainly get currency through completing achievements (+tutorial) and opening crates and leveling up heroes (just playing matches with them, you unlock new rewards every "level"). The match rewards themselves are very modest.

Hm yeah, with a few more hours I was able to grind to buy a 2.150 champ. Mostly from achievements and quests.
