Banners are useless

So I guess since the launcher is buggerd, buying banners is useless.

Chaos recently lost their banner...bought a new one...can't upload, so we are stuck with a black dude sucking on a candy cane...usually this would be acceptable, but its not christmas!

This is probably the 50000th thread on this, but i'm too lazy to find the others.

...in conclusion....any fixes on the way? is anyone even even qualified to fix the launcher that isn't working on M:BG?

Honestly the most hilarious bug I've seen yet.

The fix is simple: The patch files need to be put on the download server in the correct folder. That folder is still empty and that's what the launcher can't deal with and aborts with an error message, before downloading up to date banner images.
The status of the new patch and patchers is a big unknown, worth several question marks in a row.

In the mean time, you can buy another banner slot and switch to something else that way.
