Also I can confirm, Kazy is from Japan. I'm guessing he can pull off semi-decent ping because there's a fiber optic cable linking NA directly to Japan, while poor aussies need to connect by going all the way around the world, or at least all the way up to Japan, then over to the east.

We've selected two out of the three maps, but the last one is a tough call right now. As for the rules, we've decided on a general framework but still need to work on the details. As for times, well, that's probably going to wait until we've got all the lil bits sussed out.

Idk, I'd strongly advocate for it being hardcore old-school dtv... open village map(s), no cav, no exploiting the maps to keep things fair... just straight up S-keying to victory. The truest test of DTV skill. And I'd suggest not including the bonus for killing the named bots, would just cause teams to fight amongst themselves (although I guess that might be a good thing... weed out the weak teams from the strong ones).

And might I suggest the rewards be something along the lines of:

Tristan_of_Erzoth, The ultimate cock blocker has entered the battlefield!
Tristan_of_Erzoth, Calradia's most effective chastity belt has entered the battlefield!
Tristan_of_Erzoth, The poonanny protector has entered the battlefield!

I respect your opinion Jona, but personally, I love exploiting maps and using cav.  I do think we should limit Cav to 1, but knowing how to exploit maps takes more skill and collaboration than people think.  S-keying is good, but a lot more riskier, no matter how skilled you and your team are.  People don't realize that there is a danger to pulling or kiting bots...once the anchor dies, the mob is unleashed and even more difficult to defeat.

Also, let's not be afraid to use maps that have ballistas!
