So the soundtrack uses a lot of sped up/ slowed down versions of the same songs

And just for good measure, there's the Crypt of the Necrodancer shopkeeper singing in the FFVI-inspired opera piece.

Noticed that, had a giggle. But i dont know if that is something he created for crypt of the necrodancer, or if it already existed in whatever program he used to make the music.

Most of the music is also related to undynes theme Spear of justice..

Well, that's how you spot a learned composer.

Well, that's how you spot a learned composer.

I dont think he actually is, he atleast doesnt read notes and stuff, and did it by ear. Very impressive to say the least.

I gotta say, with all the endings, and the game being as fun as it is, its so replayable. Im on my fourth run now, and i still read dialogue again and follow everything, but try some different options. Wat a game.

Moved too quickly during this part first time around, but now i stayed for a bit and got this. Neat, i wonder if this also is a slowed down song, cant seem to find info on it.

Me too, I think it might be a Stanley Parable reference, but that may be just me stretching it.

I wonder if we'll ever get a undertale 2, im pretty sure Toby doesnt want to ruin it (he barely wanted to sell merchandise), but i think he mentioned something about an upcoming new game. Also the myster about Gaster is still loose, and just a bunch of speculations. (maybe finished through patches though)

All my youtube reccommendations are undertale related stuff, im watching all theses story clarifiers, random facts and speculation theories. 2deep. If theres something i like in videogames, its when a story has a loose end with speculations, or a story that has to be dug out. I never figure them out fully myself, but its super interesting when listening to youtubers reveal them.

I hope we won't get an 'undertale 2', but something entirely different, a spiritual successor of the spiritual successor of earthbound.

If you haven't done so already, play the Souls series. Pretty much got what you just said.

1 hour review, but nails it completely, incredibly well done and indepth. Allthough my opinion may be a bit higher since i did get emotionally invested quite a bit.

I wouldn't know, the most "emotionally invested" I got in a video game ever is watching the intro to Gran Turismo 5 for the first time. Rachmaninoff is among the five persons who can get tears out of me that way.

That aside, yes, Undertale has been able to create characters with depth and a story that however unrealistic, is truly believable. Decisions rarely felt like they had as much impact.
