So, now that we know that there will
probably be 3 attacks for each stance and they will all have parries...well I still don't get it, do you just have 1 parry for all 3 or 3 different parries?
On that note, how will collision detection work, is it not the advertised 'every weapon will have a collision box' anymore? Because, that sucks, it will just be warband with more complicated combat, which is by all means a step forward, but...yeah.
And here we get to controls, damn.
Alright, so from what I've gathered
2xLMB - feint
1xLMB - light attack
HOLD LMB - heavy attack
correct stance - passive block
correct parry in correct stance - parry
Seems awfully rigid. Can we aim attacks for particular height even as we strike or is that what those 3 attack directions are for?
Which brings me to another point. As far as I know, we won't be able to hold our attacks. Why?
When you first said stances, I imagined that system built on the original combat system.
I am very dissapoint.
Plus, you know what would be really cool and unique?
Beign able to customize every attack in each stance like this!
Not sure, how hard that would be to implement animation-wise, if even possible. But it would create an infinite amount of customization and stuff. You know the thing, that's so good about cRPG.
Anyway, enough rambling, lets wait for the alpha
