Flight simulators

Why o why would they stop making flight simulators now that we have decent graphics to enjoy them? I understand bread simulators are more profitable (?) but i so much wish to see a new FS just to stare at the OP graphics and listen to the airplane sound in a blizzard while I'm standing in the warm cabin :C
