Why is the development so secretive.

We get no dates, no gameplay, only paragraphs, which I'm grateful for, but I'm very sure the community would love to see more vids on YouTube of your development. I'm sure Melee: Battlegrounds will be an amazing game, but it's got one problem, it just won't come soon enough. :D.

well you have seen how the release date thing went with bannerlords. They annonced that they will bring out the game september 2013 if I remember right. They were like fuck it we're not ready yet, we just give u some scs. Next date was spring 2014, next was fall 2014 and I guess at the moment they have no date anymore.

Oh and didn't Zimke say that the alpha will come out early 2016?

It's not secretive, they just give out information when they have content to show. I like it, that way so far each devblog always contains something new and interesting, instead of mundane info and empty tweets.
Nemo prudens punit, quia peccatum est, sed ne peccetur.
I (used to) manage character issues, reverting, restoring and fixing related mistakes and some other stuff. Feel free to message if you encounter a problem.
He's not the hero DTV deserves but he's the one they need.

They are so secretive, because the Donkey Team simply likes to be annoyed by neverending trivial questions. That is why.

Having release dates is a bad idea. Hype generates and then dies off because people forget. Look at Fallout 4, gets announced and released 6 months later with relentless hype and thus it sold crazy well. Had they announced it a year ago with a release date that then got pushed back twice people will stop caring.

Non-existent. At this point I couldn't care less about it. Only thing that would make me buy it is, if there is noone playing Melee after a few months after release, and that's not happening considering how long people play cRPG.

I would buy Bannerlord if only for singleplayer. But my dream experience is more likely to be satisfied by MBG.

Yeah, but you don't have to buy it to play singleplayer.
